On Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM, we will sponsor the *rescheduled* Great Raleigh Trolley Adventure. Raleigh celebrated its Bicentennial in 1992 and Dr. Candy Beal from NC State served as the city’s education consultant and wrote a book about Raleigh’s early history. On the Great Raleigh Trolley Adventure, Dr. Beal will share stories about Raleigh from its very early years to today. Landmarks that most people pass without a second glance have interesting tales behind them and we will hear them all. Pardon us if we make a stop at Krispy Kreme to sample NC cooking.
